Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and guidelines for using CareConfirm. By using our Service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Permitted Use

CareConfirm is designed for legitimate business scheduling purposes. You may use the Service to:

  • Create and manage appointment-based services for your business
  • Share your public booking page with clients and customers
  • Manage client appointments and scheduling
  • Send appointment reminders and confirmations to your clients
  • Track business analytics and appointment history
  • Collaborate with team members (when available)

3. Prohibited Activities

You must not use CareConfirm to:

Illegal Activities

  • Conduct any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Facilitate illegal transactions or services
  • Engage in fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes
  • Violate intellectual property rights of others

Harmful Content

  • Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or threatening
  • Share content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred
  • Distribute spam or unsolicited commercial communications

System Abuse

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data
  • Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Misuse of Features

  • Create fake or misleading business profiles
  • Impersonate another person, business, or entity
  • Use the booking system for purposes other than legitimate scheduling
  • Abuse the notification system to harass or spam clients
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

4. Data Responsibilities

As a business owner using CareConfirm, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have proper consent to collect and store client data
  • Complying with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Using client contact information only for legitimate appointment-related communications
  • Not sharing or selling client data obtained through the Service
  • Promptly responding to client data access or deletion requests

5. Resource Usage

To ensure fair access for all users, you agree to use the Service's resources responsibly:

  • Do not create an excessive number of services or appointments designed to stress-test the system
  • Do not make excessive API calls that could degrade performance for other users
  • Report any bugs or vulnerabilities responsibly rather than exploiting them

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations of this policy, including:

Warning

First-time or minor violations may result in a written warning

Suspension

Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary account suspension

Termination

Severe or persistent violations will result in permanent account termination

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
